Police appeal for information following separate burglaries

Police are appealing for information following the report of two separate burglaries that took place on Thursday December 19.

The first is a burglary that occurred in the Gravelhill Road area of Lisburn. It is reported that at approximately 2.15am, a number of unknown persons gained entry of a licensed premise by removing a window pane on the side of the building before damaging a number of gaming machines and taking their cash contents.

A report of a burglary in the Lurgan Road area of Aghalee was also made to Lisburn Police; at approximately 4am, a number of unknown persons gained entry to a commercial premise by damaging the lower panel of the front door before taking a sum of cash and a number of electrical items from the premises.

Police would ask anyone who witnessed these incidents or who has any information to contact Police on 0845 600 8000.
