World Pipe Band Champions, Lisburn’s Field Marshall Montgomery, are preparing for another show-stealing success at the world’s biggest ever week of piping and traditional music, Piping Live!, which is taking place in Glasgow from August 11-17.

The most successful pipe band of all time, from Northern Ireland, is competing in The World Pipe Band Championships, which will take place in Glasgow for the first time ever. The famous pipe band will perform in a bid to retain its ‘World Champion’ title for the fourth year in a row.

Glasgow is set to become the heart of the piping world, with over 200 bands and 8,000 musicians from 11 countries performing at a range of events taking place around the clock. Daily highlights include Pipe Idol and Pipe Band Parades.
