Last Saturday morning (March 22), Ulster Unionist MEP Jim Nicholson addressed a fundraising breakfast organised by Lisburn UUP.
Mr Nicholson, who is seeking re-election in May, addressed members on the future of Europe and Common Agricultural Policy reform.
“I would like to congratulate the organisers of this event for all their hard work,” he said. “It was an excellent morning and I am looking forward to working closely with the members in the run up to the European elections on May 22. Ulster Unionist Lisburn City Councillor Alexander Redpath commented: “I am very glad to welcome Jim Nicholson to Lisburn. “I would urge every voter in Lagan Valley to make their voice heard and send a capable and experienced voice to Europe to speak on our behalf.”
