A Commission of the Dromore Presbytery recently ordained and installed five new elders in the Congregation of Maze
Presbyterian.

Family and friends joined the congregation for a service led by Moderator of the Presbytery, the Rev Paul Jamieson of Hillhall.

The Rev Howard Gilpin of Moira preached the charge to the New Elders and the Rev Dr Jack Richardson gave a statement on Presbyterian eldership.

The Moderator noted the enthusiasm and vitality of the congregation and the new elders, who would, he said, be a great addition to the present
leadership.

The service was held in the church hall, where the congregation has been worshipping over the past year due to the demolition and rebuilding of a new church sanctuary.

The building work is due to finish in a month’s time and the opening of the new church has been organised for Friday, May 30 at
7.30pm.
