Waiting for Video...

On Monday August 4 residents of Hillsborough fell silent to mark the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War.

Organised by the Women’s Section of the Royal British Legion, a vigil was held at the village war memorial and a roll of honour was read by young members of the community, paying tribute to the 119 men who fell during the Great War.
