As the 66-year-old man continues to be questioned by police in connection to the deaths of three Dromore women, the families of the women have been left “devastated” by the latest development.
Dromore Councillor Carol Black said that she had been in contact with the family of Michelle Bickerstaff, who died last April.
“They’re still in the process of grieving and this is devastating for them,” she said.
The man was arrested at his home in Dromore yesterday morning (Tuesday) by officers investigating the deaths of Michelle Bickerstaff, Margaret Weise, 50, who died in August 2007 and 52-year-old Elizabeth McKee, who died in December 2002.
Jenny Dixon, whose mother is Elizabeth McKee, has described her as a “king, loving woman”.
