Lisburn City Council’s Annual Report is currently being delivered to all homes in the City.
The report provides residents with information on the main activities undertaken by the Council in the last year, how money received from rates, grants and income has been allocated as well as providing residents with contact information for all 30 Councillors. Speaking about the delivery of the Annual Report, the Chairman of the Council’s Corporate Services Committee, Councillor Pat Catney said “We are accountable to our ratepayers so it is important that we keep all our residents informed about how the Council is providing services to the Community.
“At the minute there is much talk about the election of Shadow Councils this month, and rightly so.
“However it is important to remember that Lisburn City Council, in its present form, will remain until this time next year and we will continue to build on our services.
“The Annual Report provides information on how we will do this and gives contact information for all Councillors.
“I would encourage everyone to read our Annual Report and find out more about how the Council continues to work on your behalf,” said Councillor Catney.
