Two of the men, aged 32 and 66, were detained after officers stopped a car on the Belsize Road on Thursday February 11. The third individual, who is 28, was arrested during follow up searches at a number of addresses across Lisburn.

Detective Inspector Alan Pyper said: “We recovered suspected high purity cocaine with an estimated value in excess of £100,000, along with a substantial amount of cutting agent, approximately 50kg, which we believe was intended to bulk the drugs and increase street value. Two high value cars and a large sum of cash have also been seized.

Drugs, and those who peddle them, offer nothing to society. We will take every opportunity to shut down the activities of drug dealers and traffickers in our communities and information from the public remains vital in this. I would encourage anyone who believes they can assist us to call 101 or the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
