Hillsborough helps to raise £3k for Children's Hospice

The people of Hillsborough have helped to raise approximately £3,000 for the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice.

That was through a special evening of music in the Village Centre on Friday 22nd April. The event featured music from the ‘Voice of the Bann’ directed by Sheila Smyth and a very special performance from the Patience family.

Organizer Barbara Farr said: “As a regular volunteer in the Northern Ireland Hospice Shop in Lisburn; the Hospice and Children’s Hospice have become very close to my heart. I really want to thank everyone who supported my fundraising.”

Community Fundraiser Jenay Doyle added:

“We are so grateful to people like Barbara who give so generously of their time to support our charity. Through her fundraising Barbara is helping us to provide Children’s Hospice care to life limited children and young people living across Northern Ireland.”
