GCSE results: St Patrick's Academy celebrating '˜exceptional' grades

With the school celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, principal Dr Seamus Quinn is delighted with its continuing success.

“The excellent results reflect the hard work and dedication of an exceptional group of students,” he said. “These results reinforce the findings of the Education and Training Inspectorate who identified St Patrick’s Academy as one of the top three schools in Lisburn in a recent inspection report.

“The ongoing success within St Patrick’s Academy is a reflection of not only the hard work of the pupils but also the staff who provide tailored, individual support to pupils throughout the year.”

Dr Quinn added: “The ongoing success of the Academy is founded on the successful partnership between staff, pupils and parents who are all dedicated in ensuring all pupils achieve their best.”
