Car crash on Saintfield Road

There was a serious collision on the Saintfield Road during the early hours of Thursday (February 11).

It is understood that no-one involved in the crash suffered life-threatening injuries.

A spokesperson for the police said: “During our night shift, Officers from ‪B Section‬ attended a Road Traffic Collision on the Saintfield Road.

“This is another reminder of how careful drivers need to be, especially in winter weather.

“Thankfully, we can report that at this time we believe the people who were in this car did not suffer life threatening injuries.

“Please take care on the roads.”
