A number of local sports clubs and organisations have received financial assistance from Banbridge Council.
At a recent Leisure and Development Committee meeting it was agreed that over £3,000 will be handed out to various groups.
West Down Wheelers is to receive £300 towards the West Down Grand Prix which took place last month, and Banbridge Rangers Football Club will get £250 towards their Junior Tournament which also took place in May.
Banbridge Amateur Boxing Club who will be running a Summer Coaching Week from June 30 to July 5 is to get £250.
The Youth Initiatives will receive £1,350 towards their Summer Scheme to be held from August 4 to 15.
The Polish Supplementary School in Banbridge received £200 towards their Multi Cultural Fun Day on May 31.
The council will give £750 towards the Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults Training for 68 people (Community Services).
