A woman had to be cut from a car after a road accident near Toome yesterday.

Firefighters had to use hydraulic cutting gear to free the 26-year-old following the single-vehicle crash at Shore Road on Wednesday afternoon.She was taken to hospital by ambulance.Fire crews from Magherafelt and Pomeroy stations attended the incident.
