Eimear is going with the flow at NI Water

Local woman, Eimear Gourley (nee Faller) from Lisburn is currently working at NI Water as a graduate Civil Engineer.

Working as part of Northern Ireland’s most essential service, Eimear’s duties include project management of the design, development and construction of new and upgraded wastewater treatment works throughout Northern Ireland.

Eimear’s role is essential to ensuring the safe, timely and well-resourced completion of capital projects required to achieve the excellent standard of wastewater treatment in Northern Ireland.

Eimear comments, “The highlight of my career to date is the huge positive difference to the environment and the local residents and businesses in the area that the new wastewater treatment works bring.

“As per my career development programme with NI Water, I aim to become a Chartered Civil Engineer within the next few years and progress my career through NI Water.

Eimear secured the position after applying for the 2012 NI Water graduate programme.

NI Water is the sole provider of water and sewerage services in Northern Ireland. A service which supports the health, environment and local economy of the areas it serves.
