Five students from South Eastern Regional College Lisburn campus are set to hold a photography exhibition in The Long Gallery at Stormont.
The ‘Intrinsic’ exhibition takes place on Tuesday May 26.
On the night the work of Lauren Robinson Victoria Lilley, Scott Morton, Philip Jones and Robert Cleland will be displayed, ranging from traditional to modern photography and traditional illustration techniques to modern digital design.
Each participant is studying at higher national diploma level in photography and Graphic Design at Lisburn.
Student Lauren Robinson said: “Exhibiting in Stormont which is such an iconic Northern Irish Building is such a high to end this year.
“I will be sad to leave SERC after studying here since the age of 16 but I feel I have been equipped with the practical skills and knowledge needed to move into the world of work. What we really we want to show off is not only our own hard work but also the great things that are happening here at SERC.”
“We are the First students, to have undertaken an HND course in Photographics at Lisburn Campus and we are extremely excited to pave the way for students who will follow in our foot steps,” said Lauren.
“This exhibition will be a great opportunity for us to thank everyone that has helped and supported throughout our years of education and as a token of our appreciation we will be offering refreshments on this opening night.”
The students secured the venue with the help of Basil McCrea MLA.
The Exhibition will be open to the public but for anybody planning on coming along, it would be advisable to RSVP through the website www.hndintrinsic.com .
