Crumlin WI AGM

The Templeton Hotel was the venue for Crumlin Women’s Institute’s Annual Dinner and the hotel excelled with a beautiful meal thoroughly enjoyed by all present.

Mrs Irene Mol, from Broughshane, provided the entertainment and humour with her theme ‘Something to smile about and Something to think about’ and had everybody laughing heartily.

Glenys Stevenson proposed the vote of thanks.

Following a brief business meeting Mrs M. Morris presented various competition cups.

President Yvonne informed members that Crumlin came second in the Area quiz and Nessie Park goes through to the finals in the Bowls competition.

Winner of the ‘Spoon’ competition was May George and Pearl Stevenson was the birthday girl.

The evening concluded with Yvonne Duncan thanking Mrs Morris for presenting the cups and the staff and chef of the Templeton for a first class meal.
