Police have thanked members of the public who helped them track down a suspicious vehicle.

One person was arrested following reports of a vehicle being driven at high speed in the Laurelvale area of Co Armagh.

A police spokesperson said: “Thanks to the two walkers that assisted police in the Laurelvale area on Thursday evening.

“They helped direct Police towards a suspicious white van being driven at high speed in the area.

Witnesses are being sought.Witnesses are being sought.

“This resulted in the driver being arrested for a number of offences.”

Police are appealing for any witnesses, or drivers with dash cam in the area between 9:40pm–9:50pm to contact them.
