Two females injured during hijacking

Two females suffered minor injuries after their car was hijacked at Bensons Road in Lisburn, on Tuesday evening (April 5).

Shortly before 10pm, a black Peugeot 208 which was parked in a layby with two female occupants, was struck from behind by another vehicle.

A number of males exited the second vehicle and pulled the two females from the Peugeot and drove off in their car. Both females suffered minor injuries.

Detective Sergeant James Johnston is appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information which could assist police with their enquiries to contact detectives in Lisburn on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
