Thieves target city centre take-away
Police investigating a burglary at a take-away in Lisburn city centre have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
At around 10.30am on Wednesday, November 23, Pizza Base on Castle Gardens was burgled after thieves gained entry to the premises via the roof.
“Police would like to hear from anyone who saw any persons or vehicles acting suspiciously in the area. An extractor unit measuring 5 x 5 feet was stolen and so a larger vehicle may have been involved,” a PSNI spokesperson explained.
Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to contact investigating officers on 101 quoting reference number 802 of 23/11/16.
