Teen charged with burglary

A teenager has been charged with a host of burglary offences.

Officers from District Policing Command, Crime Support Team, have charged a 15 year old male with 10 counts of burglary, three counts of attempted burglary and theft.

The youth is expected to appear before Craigavon Youth Court on Wednesday April 27.

It is understood that the charges are in connection with a number of burglaries at residential properties in the Aghalee, Moira and Lurgan areas. The teenager has also been charged in connection with the burglary of a shop in Belfast during the early hours of October 1, 2015.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
