Police make drink-driving arrests
Police in the Lisburn and Castlereagh area made a number of arrests over the weekend for drink-driving offences.
“It was a busy weekend for Lisburn and Castlereagh Police. Over the course of the couple of days 5 people were arrested for driving whilst unfit, 4 people arrested for driving with excess alcohol and 1 person for being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle,” a PSNI spokesperson said.
“While we encourage people to enjoy their weekends off, please leave the car at home if planning a drink.”
