Lisburn Police are appealing for information following the assault of a man last weekend.

The police are investigating an assault in the Hibs Club on Longstone Street in the early hours of Sunday May (8).

This male was assaulted by a group of other males, whom he believes were Polish.

There was a small party taking place on the first floor of the club at the time.

A spokesperson for the police asked for anyone with information to contact them as soon as possible. “Can you give us any information?” asked the spokesperson. “If so report it on the non-emergency number 101 quoting serial 90 of 08/05/16.”

Information can also be passed to the police anonymously by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
