Detectives from the PSNI’s Reactive and Organised Crime Branch this week arrested a man in Lisburn as part of an investigation into the street supply of heroin in Belfast.

The Lisburn arrest on Monday evening was the fifth in connection to the investigation.

Detective Inspector Andy Dunlop confirmed that the 26-year-old man was arrested in the Lisburn area as part of an operation which saw four men arrested in the Antrim Road area of Belfast earlier in the day.

All five men were said to be assisting officers with their enquiries.
