A 39-year-old Dromore man currently banned from the roads for three years has admitted further driving offences.

Roger Stewart, Maypole Park, appeared last Thursday at Craigavon Magistrates Court. He pleaded guilty to four driving offences.

They took place on January 18 this year at Ballynahinch Road and Drumiller Road, Dromore.

They are aggravated taking a car without the consent of the owner, driving while unfit, not having insurance and not having a driving licence.

His solicitor told the court that he had a relevant record.

Stewart was currently the subject of a three year disqualification.

District Judge, Mr Paul Copeland, put the case back to August 20 so that a pre-sentence report could be obtained and remanded Stewart on continuing bail.
