Cavehill fire: Teen released on bail

A teenage boy who was arrested on suspicion of arson following a blaze on the Cavehill earlier this week has been released on bail.

Providing an update this morning (Friday), a PSNI spokesperson said: “A teenager arrested by police investigating a gorse fire in the Upper Cavehill Road area of Belfast on Wednesday (April 27), has been released on bail pending further police enquiries.”

Firefighters remained at the scene of the incident yesterday (Thursday).
