Local police are appealing for information following a burglary at a residential property in the Berkeley Hall Green area of Lisburn.

Sometime between Tuesday, February 2 and 8.15pm on Wednesday, February 3, the house was entered and the upstairs area was ransacked.

The police have said that it is unclear at this stage what exactly has been stolen from the property.

Detective Sergeant James Johnston has asked anyone who may have noticed any suspicious persons or vehicles in the area over recent days to contact Detectives at Lisburn Reactive and Organised Crime on the non-emergency number 101.

Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
