Council supports new free tennis app launch

Tennis is a sport enjoyed by many across the Council area and a free app has been developed to ensure that all keen players are aware of events taking place in the Wallace Park Indoor Tennis Centre, currently managed on behalf of the Council by Tennis Fundamentals.

The ‘Play More Tennis’ (PMT) App was developed by Tennis Fundamentals’, Brian Cushnie with assistance from Invest NI. Events listed at present on the App include the new ‘Singles Box Leagues’ and Cardio Tennis Classes.

Councillor Tim Morrow, Chairman of the Council’s Leisure & Community Development Committee, said: “The Council is delighted this tennis App will allow beginners, amateurs and professionals to post when they wish to play a game of tennis and find other players of their ability to make up singles and doubles matches.”
