Citywatch have busiest month for five years
November was the busiest month for Citywatch CCTV team in the past FIVE years.
With 382 incidents logged and 41 persons arrested which is the highest ever for one month with October 2011 coming a close second with 35 persons arrested.
On their Facebook page Citywatch posted: “Most of the incidents in November were for Theft, Drink Driving and Drugs Offences. Some people may say that crime is on the increase, but we believe that with the latest technology at our disposal we are getting better at detecting these crimes.
