Chita's quick to hunt down criminals
Meet Chita, the police dog who is helping local PSNI officers apprehend lawbreakers.
Chita, along with her handler, attended a recent incident involving the theft of a vehicle in Greenisland and a subsequent burglary in Lisburn.
“There was a pursuit on the M1 involving many police resources including our helicopter. It ended in the Divis Estate in Belfast,” a PSNI spokesperson explained.
“Chita and her handler attended, along with other police, and located the suspects inside a house. Both were arrested at the scene.”
Criminals beware, Chita’s bite is worse than her bark!
