CCTV team catch drink driver in Lisburn
The CityWatch CCTV Control Room had a busy St Patrick's day observing youths drinking and catching a male drink driver.
Posting on their Facebook page, they said: “A large group of youths were observed drinking alcohol in the area of the Lisburn Civic Centre. Police were informed and a number of the youths were stopped and some alcohol was seized and details noted.”
They added: “In Lisburn we received a report from a CityWatch radio link member of a drunk male who had got into a car. We observed the male in the driver’s seat of the car and police were informed. The driver was then stopped by police and arrested for Driving with Excess Alcohol.”
