Shortlisted for Women in Business NI Awards

Celebrating the success of joining the Women in Business NI alumnae, winners from the inaugural Women in Business NI Awards joined with this year's finalists at the first ever Women in Business NI Retreat sponsored by Galgorm Resort & Spa.  Aimed at stimulating quality networking that builds sustainable business connections and personal development, the 50 women who attended the Retreat heard from some of Northern Ireland's leading industry experts.  The inspirational speakers were on hand to impart knowledge at bespoke masterclasses and workshops tailored to address business development, improvement and growth.  There was also an opportunity for some relaxation at the end of the exclusive day.

TWO women who work locally have been named finalists this year’s Women in Business NI Awards, in association with Invest Northern Ireland,

Bernie Daly of People First has been nominated for the award for outstanding management/Leadership and Joanne Reel, Lagan Valley Island Centre, for Best Customer Service.

The event will take place on Thursday, November 22, in the Ramada Hotel, Belfast.

Following an intense day of judging, shortlists were chosen in the 10 categories.

Chair of Women in Business NI and Chair of the judges, Edel Doherty of Business Travel Solutions, said: “We really had an unenviable task this year as the standard of entries was truly exceptional. We created the Women in Business NI Awards last year and the homegrown talent we found in women doing business in Northern Ireland was phenomenal but the quality of this year’s entries have surpassed even our expectations.
