The eatery is an exciting new venture for the couple, who have gained a reputable status in the local area following the phenomenal success of the steakhouse, Del Toro, over the past six and half years.

The new restaurant is a casual dining experience for those visiting the Leisure Park and offers a wide range of dishes.

The owners have taken inspiration from London restaurants and carried out extensive research in order to develop something different for customers visiting Lisburn city centre.

Bronagh Campbell, owner of Beef and Bird, said: “We are delighted to announce the opening of our new restaurant, Beef and Bird, a different type of eatery from what we are known for.

“Primarily our reputation has been for our traditional Steakhouse, Del Toro and we now want to expand this product offering to a new customer base.

“Beef and Bird is a fast casual dining experience that will give customers delicious fresh food whilst shopping or enjoying some of the entertainment outlets in the Leisure Park.”

Chairman of the Development Committee at Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council (LCCC), Allan Ewart said: “Beef and Bird will contribute to the local economy as it has created 30 jobs.

“We wish the team the very best of luck with their new venture.”
