The Knockmore-based company employs more than 500 people at its three production facilities in Lisburn and distribution centre in Birmingham.

Chamber members and guests were welcomed to the Ferguson Drive business by HR Manager Gillian Corstorphine and together with Customer Services Manager Pat McIlveen, they presented an overview of Decora’s activities and the incredible number of products, styles and colours delivered to customers on a next day basis.

Production Manager Connor Hamill then took the large group of visitors on a tour of the factory floor at both the firm’s locations at Ferguson Drive. The manufacturing process was explained in detail and the sophistication of different product lines was appreciated by those in attendance.

The tour concluded with refreshments kindly provided by Decora.

Chairman of Lisburn Chamber of Commerce, Stephen Houston thanked management and staff at Decora for the “fascinating tour” and for taking the time to interact with the local members of the Chamber.

The next event in the Chamber of Commerce’s calendar is its annual dinner on Thursday, November 3 at Larchfield Estate. Tickets are available from the Chamber office - call 028 9266 2449 or email office@lisburnchamber.co.uk
