Following the service, the band then held a parade around the Knockmore estate, where it was originally founded forty years ago.
The bandsmen then hopped on a bus and made their way to a band contest in Markethill, where they competed against 91 other bands in the Kilcluney Volunteers Annual Parade. The local band were delighted to be awarded first in Style & Appearance and second marching and discipline.
