The Colour Dash 5k will bring a festival of colour and entertainment to the Eikon Exhibition Centre in Lisburn this summer.

Runners are being invited to paint the Eikon Exhibition Centre red – and yellow and blue, and many other colours, in a 5k run that will raise vital funds for Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice, on Sunday August 21.

Colour Dash 5k will start at 10.30am with a pre-event party including face painting, live music and dance, before colour dashers set off at 11.30am.

Darren Crozier, Events Fundraiser at NI Children’s Hospice said: “The venue is perfect for an exciting new 5K route, with colour stations, entertainment and refreshment points throughout. There will also be free shuttle buses from Lisburn train station, for anyone using public transport.”
