Defendant offers 'sincere apologies' to victim's family
A student accused of killing a Moira man outside a Belfast nightclub has offered apologies to the victim's family.

Ciaran Laverty, 18, of Woodland Grange in the city, appeared in Belfast Magistrates Court on Monday with the manslaughter of Aaron Montgomery, 23.
A detective sergeant said he believed he could connect Mr Laverty, who said nothing when charged, with the offence.
A defence solicitor said the defendant was "deeply sorry" and offered his "sincere apologies" to Mr Montgomery's family.
Aaron Montgomery from Danesford in Moira, was found outside Skye nightclub in Howard Street early in the early hours of Friday morning.
The News Letter marketing department employee had been on a St Valentine's night out with friends.
Mr Laverty was remanded on continuing bail to appear again next month.
