TWO Lisburn people recently joined colleagues from Belfast-based software development company, Liberty Information Technology Ltd, to present a £6,000 donation to Oxfam after completing the charity's 2009 Ireland Trail Trekker.
Darren Holman and Lynsey O’Neill were part of the Liberty IT teams who completed the journey through 100km of undulating, rugged countryside from Kilbroney Park in Rostrevor to Carlingford in County Louth, in just under 26 hours.

Making the donation, Darren, Liberty IT Systems Manager and Team Leader said they had trained hard for six months to complete the challenge, but it wasn’t just the physical and mental challenge - “it was all about having fun, team building and raising money into the bargain to help to help those less fortunate.”
