The new look for Edinburgh based 'Tennis Scotland' was completed by Main Street Marketing from Bachelors Walk just as Andy Murray's battle for the 2008 Wimbledon Mens Title was reaching a climax.

Main Street's Managing Director David Ashcroft said they were 'thrilled' to have completed the task.

"Tennis Scotland contacted us to design their new logo and corporate identity having tried various Scottish agencies," he continued.

"Working closely with their team in Edinburgh, we quickly developed the design in time for the new season. The client is delighted with the result."

The eye-catching design demonstrates both the speed and fun of the sport. There is also a passing nod to the Scottish flag in the crossed bounce.

Main Street has produced the design for print, display items and a range of T-shirts and clothing.

Account Director Nicola Greene said the surge of interest in tennis following Andy and Jamie Murray's international success meant tennis in Scotland was "the place to be".

"The new logo was launched at the Four Nations Tournament held at the Boat Club in Belfast recently. Scotland celebrated by winning the Tournament and beating England, Wales and Ireland," she said.
