Lisburn Cadets recently embarked on adventure training by day and sleeping under canvas by night in the annual Easter Dawn Camp.

Colonel Keith Dowell, Commandant of 2nd (Northern Ireland) Battalion, Army Cadet Force said, “Camping and adventure training have always been amongst the most popular elements of cadet life – and not only with the cadets.

“In today’s tough economic climate, parents are delighted to discover their kids can enjoy an amazing mini-break without breaking the bank.

“Parents also have the reassurance of knowing the training is all professionally supervised and every cadet will be encouraged and supported throughout.”
