RUFUS is a seven year-old Labrador cross who is hoping the New Year will bring with it a new home.

Sadly Rufus is finding kennel life very stressful so is hoping that he doesn’t have too long to wait for a fresh start.

He is a real ladies man and can take a while to warm up to men he doesn’t know, but as soon as you become a familiar face he’ll be a friend for life. He’s very bright and has been enjoying some additional training with the staff to great success, which he’d enjoy continuing in his new home.

Ideally Rufus would like his new start to be with a family with grown up children and with a canine friend who can show him the ropes and help him settle in.
