ART students from Lisburn recently had the opportunity to display their work at the Ulster Museum in Belfast.

The display is part of the CCEA True Colours Exhibition, which runs in the museum until February 22.

Northern Irish artist Ross Wilson officially opened the exhibition on Thursday, January 10, in front of the student exhibitors, their family, friends and teachers.

Speaking at the event he commented: “CCEA’s vibrant True Colours exhibition will surely brighten up the dreary month of January for visitors to the Ulster Museum. It is a pleasure and honour for me to see at first hand the work of so many talented young people.

“I have found the eclectic mix of design, printmaking, painting and sculpture both inspiring and encouraging. I look forward to hearing the names of many of these students in the years to come as they progress in the field of art and design.”
