Bronte Music Club welcomes Rod Picott
THE Bronte Music Club plays host to another superb singer/songwriter on Friday November 16, when US born Rod Picott will perform at the popular Rathfriland venue.
The very definition of a modern troubadour, Picott tours the US in a Jeep Cherokee and annually tours Europe and the UK to the tune of 130 plus shows annually. He is lauded for his narrative and melodic songwriting, passionate delivery and darkly humourous ons tage storytelling. He was rated No 1 Songwriter of the Year, No 1 Male Artist of the Year and ‘Welding Burns’ was voted No 5 CD release of 2011.
