3 of us went Thursday at 7pm wishing to take advantage of the ADVERTISED (on their front door and website) Early bird deal - Free Starter and Dessert. We were rudely told by a very aggressive ignorant intimidating fat guy in a white shirt - who I assume was a manager that the meal deal was not on after 6pm. Nowhere does it say this on the door or website ! we were aggressively forced out of the building by this guy, and one of our party was disabled. We were all wishing to spend a good bit of money on steak dinners and alot of drinks - so this treatment was extremely OTT and verged on assualt. All for the sake of some very cheap starters and desserts.

We have eaten here on mnay occasions before but never again, and I will be telling all my friends and family about this treatment. Aswell as contacting Trading standards for FALSE advertising - he is just lucky we also didnt contact the police for the abuse !

BEWARE !

I live close by to eds bar and grill in the lisburn area. There are other restraunts surroundings eds but i never go any where else. Outside is so appealing, there food is amazing, i recommend sharing platter of nachos to start, followed by bbq chicken with cheese and bacon with cheesey mash and bbq sauce. I have a 2 year old daughter, so its really child friendly, while we are eating, she cant also eat but watch a dvd on the portable dvd players, or play with the many ranges of childs toys or draw. I love it!!

I love the music, its like being in america with the 50s theme.! The staff are so polite, and I have never had a bad word to say. Love this place!!

Absolutly love this place. Have been twice, once with my boyfriend and the other time with my family.

When I was there with my family we got the 9.99 meal where I paid £3 extra for the steak, they were very happy to make switches on my meal at no extra costs unlike some restaurants and when I asked for a coke they asked if I would prefer a large as it was only 15p dearer, I liked this as they cuda made more money out of me by getting two small glasses.

The kids were offered a choice of DVDs or ds's to play with an they had a large selection which kept the kids entertained while the adults talked.

When I went with my boyfriend last night we go the BOGOF steak and it was delicious, no complaints about the food or service, I know officially love this place.

This is a true american diner restaurant!! It is quirky and the staff are all wearing 'american diner’ clothes! The best bit about this restaurant is that it lets the children watch dvd’s on portable dvd players at their table!! This is definitely handy when taking the kids out for a meal and it keeps them entertained until their food arrives!! The menu is diverse and has an american diner theme to it. The food is lovely and the portions are massive. The service is good however it can be really busy at the weekend and sometimes the wait for the food can be longer than expected. Also runs themed nights eg. abba which are booked up really quickly!!

Last experience was bad and I havent been back to give it another go. had been previously and it was always good, but last tiem very slow service and when complained food arrived with 2 mins. But was cold and next day OH and I were both ill. Could be concidence but not too sureif I want to give it another go.
Provide DVDs for children, ok if you want to go out as a family and not actually talk to your child!

I love this place! It’s a retro 50’s diner, complete with booths, bar area and funky retro decor. The menu not as varied as other places, but they do have dvd players and a HUGE selection of dvds for children to watch while they wait/eat.

The staff are AMAZING, very polite, know their stuff regarding allergies, etc and the prices are very reasonable. There is also a bar area where you can wait if your table is not ready/you haven’t booked.
