AS part of the summer programme in Seymour Hill young people have completed a series of murals depicting George Best and Joey Dunlop as well as the badge of the NI Football Association.
The area where the new murals are is a highly used walkway, which was covered with a lot of sectarian graffiti.
Having spoken with a significant amount of the local community the Seymour Hill and Conway youth council believe this was a much needed and wanted facelift.
A special thanks to all those who contributed to the project including the artist Caroline Jefferys, staff and volunteers, Trevor, Caroline, Margaret and Gemma as well as all the trainee leaders and the young people themselves.
The Seymour Hill and Conway Youth Council would also like to thank sponsors SEELB and the NIHE for granting permission for the use of their property, as well as the Housing Warden for the area, William Fisher, for all his assistance.
