A SPECIAL service about what is important at Christmas was held in Maze Presbyterian Church on Sunday December 16 featuring Christmas carols, prayers and nativity drama by the Bible Classes, Primary Classes and Sunday Club.

In a short address to the children and the congregation, the minister, the Rev William Henry spoke of Jesus the very special gift of God.

Emphasising that a gift has to be offered, it must be received and it must be free, Mr Henry explained that God’s gift of salvation is offered and it is free; but what is most important at this Christmas time is that we have to receive it because God loves us so much that He wants to save us and take us to heaven.
