New book to be launched at library
ON Wednesday November 7 at 7.30pm Lisburn City Library will host the launch of a new book.
Ray Robinson will be launching his new book, ‘High School Confidential: Coming of Age in Belfast’, a romantic fictional novel aimed at teenagers.
However, Ray is certain that the book, set in Belfast will appeal to the older generations as well, and will take them on a stroll down memory lane. “I had bits and pieces of writing in the attic and I pulled them together to create the fictional story of Sugar, who was named after Sugar Ray Robinson,” explained Ray. “It is a very sweet love story and it will appeal to people of a certain age.”
The book has been supported by the Lisburn Arts Advisory Committee and printed by A1 City Print in Lisburn. For further information or to book a place at the event contact Lisburn City Library on 92633350 or email lisburncity.library@librariesni.org.uk.
