Leading Ladies to perform at Cathedral re-opening

THE Leading Ladies will perform at a spectacular re-opening concert in Lisburn Cathedral on Monday, December 3, at 8pm.

The concert marks a significant milestone in the history of Lisburn Cathedral as it is reopened after major renovations.

All members of the community are invited to a truly joyous evening with Michelle Baird, Ceara Grehan, Mairead Healy and Lynne McAllister, known collectively as ‘The Leading Ladies’. They will enchant the audience with spectacular music from the shows, toe tapping chart toppers, contemporary gospel songs and a little bit of Christmas magic.

The four, who originally met through Northern Ireland Musical Societies, have all played leading roles in some of Ireland’s major theatres including the Grand Opera House, Belfast Waterfront Hall and the National Concert Hall, Dublin. The talented ladies have also won the Association of Irish Musical Societies’ coveted award for Best Female Singer in Ireland four times between them.

The evening will also include a special performance from a group brought together by the Cathedral Curate, Rev Simon Genoe. This once only opportunity to hear ‘Simon & The Alfies’ should not be missed as they perform some well known hits for everyone to get enjoy and get involved in.

The cost of the night is only £10 a ticket which will include refreshments in the Hall following the concert.

The re-opening event will be in the beautiful setting of the newly renovated Cathedral building and this is a perfect opportunity to bring any friend or family member out for a night of quality entertainment.

To book tickets please contact Garvin Jess in the Cathedral Office Tel: 028 9260 2400  or E-mail: enquiries@lisburncathedral.org
