THE Mayor of Lisburn is encouraging local people to shop in Lisburn this Christmas,
Mayor Alderman William Leathem said that the wide variety of shopping in Lisburn ensured that local residents had everything they needed right on their doorstep.
“Christmas is one of the key trading periods for all retailers and by choosing our local shops this year, residents are not only supporting local businesses, they are investing in the local economy, local jobs for young people and the future development of Lisburn.
“I know that local businesses have been working tirelessly in the run to the festive season to provide us, as customers, with first class shopping, value and choice this Christmas and I would urge everybody to show their support for Lisburn and shop local this Christmas,” he said.
