SANTA Claus is preparing for his annual arrival to Dobbies Garden World Lisburn this Saturday, November 24, at 11am.

This year Santa will arrive in style on his horse-drawn carriage followed by a parade of festive characters.

Santa’s arrival at Dobbies is the most magical day of the year and incorporates something for all the family, from live festive music to tasty treats and children’s entertainment including face painters and a Christmas craft station.

This magical event also celebrates the opening of Santa’s Grotto, where children have the chance to visit him and be part of a truly memorable experience for all the family.

This Christmas Dobbies Garden Centres is proud to support CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, and their families.

Barbara McLeod, community champion, said, “Santa’s arrival is the biggest event in Dobbies calendar and is a fantastic festive event – guaranteed to get you in the sprit for the big day ahead. It’s always great to see so many families attend and enjoy a day of festive entertainment.

“This year we are delighted to be supporting CLIC Sargent as our national charity partner and welcome the families supported by this wonderful charity as part of our festive parade. We would encourage customers to leave a wish on Dobbies Wish Tree. This small gesture will aid CLIC Sargent in supporting children, young people and their families, not only at Christmas time but throughout the year. I hope that all customers will continue to donate and give generously to this great charity.”

Dobbies is one of the area’s must-visit festive destinations over the Christmas period and Santa’s arrival is a firm favourite for all the community to come along, enjoy and get involved in. After the parade Santa will merrily be ho-ho-hosting his traditional grotto and will reside there up until Christmas Eve.

There will also be added entertainment throughout the day including face painting, children’s entertainment and tasty festive treats

Tickets for Santa’s grotto must be booked in advance from the information desk in-store and cost £5, this includes a gift from the man in red himself.
