A LOCAL undertaker has volunteerded to be locked up in Crumlin Road prison as part of a fundraising effort.

David Capper is being locked up to raise money for the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.

So far he’s just over halfway to his £3,500 target.

He’ll be joined by Julian Simmons (UTV), George Jones (Radio Presenter), Tiffany Brien (Miss NI), Olivia Nash (Ma - Give my Head Peace), Nuala McKeever (Playwright & Comedian) and a few others in the fundraiser.

The aim is that each ‘inmate’ raises £3,500 bail for their release from prison. With your help it’s hoped to raise £50,000 towards funding the vital work of the Children’s Hospice.
